Wait for the crème.

There is something incredibly sexy about Christoph Waltz. Maybe it's his impeccable acting.
Maybe it's his lovely Austrian accent. I guess it should bother me that he's old enough to be my father. It doesn't. I guess it should also bother me that I'm still attracted to him as a Nazi. Yeah, that does, but just a little.

fyi, just to clear things up, in no way do I find anything about Nazi's attractive. PEACE&LOVE&PEACE&LOVE&PEACE&LOVE

RIP

Later kid. xx

And the embers never fade..

This post is going to get straight to the point: I miss Chicago so hard right now. It's just one of those moments when I find myself laying in bed in LA, 1739.76 miles away from home. Real, real home. Chicago, my beautiful, most wonderful city in the world, I can't wait to see you in 3 weeks :)

"I'd like to thank The Academy.."

I couldn't blog today without mention of the elephant in the room: The 82nd Academy Awards. Now, before you get the wrong idea, no, I do NOT dislike the Oscars in any way, quite the contrary actually, I LOVE them. But, what I'm not going to go into is the whole "I'm an aspiring actress so it's my dream to attend one day...blah, blah, blah" We all know what's good.
So here's the re-cap of the big night if you were anything like this twitter follower of mine: "notwatchingoscars# punching myself in the face instead. same thing except no commercials"

I feel old, but not very wise

Oh, young love! When An Education works, it’s because it’s capable of recreating the insane fog of love, particularly first love, which always feels like last love. Plus, it's set in classy 1960's London. Classy as in modish, classy as in overtly concerned with class. For me, it was definitely one of those "You had me at 'Hello'.." moments. Not to mention the film stars my all-time favorite new comer, the delightful, coquettish Carey Mulligan. She's an actor that you should be on the look out for, she's absolutely radiant on screen and has a charming quality about her that makes my heterosexual self wish that the two of us could have ran off to Paris for a steamy love affair. So, if you haven't seen An Education, it's time to crawl out from inside that hole and liberate yourself.
